Meet Kristen & Megan
Kristen and Megan Geissinger are not only business partners but also sisters-in-law. They have been working hard together on Statement, making sure it is more than just another boutique. They will offer personal styling and shopping experiences, building strong relationships with their clients. Kristen and Megan both have significant education and work experience in the fashion industry.
About Kristen
Kristen graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) with a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism and minor in Design. During her time at UNO, Kristen worked part-time at a women's boutique in west Omaha. She then went on to attend the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York City where she earned an Associate's Degree in Fashion Merchandising. While attending FIT, Kristen interned at the Rachael Ray Show in the Wardrobe Department. She worked directly with Ray's stylist and helped pull outfits for Ray's daytime television show, Food Network shows, magazine, and special appearances. After graduation, Kristen secured a job at a multi-line showroom in New York City. During her tenure with the Solo Agency showroom, she worked as a Sales Representative for three international clothing lines.
About Megan
Megan graduated from Truman State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. During college, she worked for national retailers part-time, beginning to learn aspects of the retail world. Upon graduation, Megan took on a management position with a national women's retailer in Omaha, NE. Megan continued her education at Bellevue University where she earned her MBA with concentrations in both Human Resources and Finance. After working at the women's retail store for six years, working her way through the management ranks she took her talents to work in HR for a financial institution in Omaha, NE. Megan also is an adjunct professor, teaching Retail Store Management courses for a local University.
